Lately we've had a lot of calls for portrait sessions. Specifically senior portrait sessions on Miami Beach. So here are a few photos from a South Beach senior portrait session with Briana. I hope your New Year is off to a great start! Funny thing about New Years is I'm not a big fan over New Year's celebration. I rarely party on the holiday. In fact his year I was so lame I actually fell asleep before midnight. However I did get up at 11:50 to see Dick Clark! (I'm not sure that's redeeming.) Though I may not be fan of the New Year's party... I'm a huge fan regarding a new year. I just have so much optimism heading into a new year... especially this year. I sense great things are ahead of me in 2012. I hope the same for you! But before we launch into the future, lets take a look at some of what I've been doing the past few weeks. See more

It's hard to believe how much has happened this year. I could quantify it in numbers... More than 50 shoots, 10,000 photos, 16,000 visitors to this site, in the running for a WeddingWire Bride's Choice Award... and the list goes on. But beyond the numbers what happened this year ultimately was inspiration. See more

So the last family photo shoot of this holiday season is of course... mine! Funny how that happens to the photographer. Amanda and I are preparing and mailing out the holiday cards as I write this. Four days before Christmas... no big deal! See more

It's Saturday night a little before nine o'clock. I'm sitting with my step mom in Old Cutler Presbyterian Church. I am a nervous wreck. I'm watching my brother and sister-in-law's band/choir preform an amazing holiday show. While I'm trying to focus on the performance I can't help but check my phone every three minutes. I thought I'd share the images from my session with the Karsh family in a cool two minute recap. You'll spot some random racoons toward the end of the clip. The decided to join our photo shoot! Ok, so maybe they didn't attack but they certainly stopped by to check us out. The kids got a kick out of it and I did too. See more

I thought I'd share a few images from my recent shoot with Steve, Jasmine, and Raiden (on the way). We really lucked out. The Summer rain stayed away, the temperature was just right, and the sun hid behind the clouds for most of the shoot. For you aspiring photographers having the sun behind the clouds provides for perfect light. And photography is 90% light. See more
