Matt & Cynthia's Wedding at the Coconut Grove Ritz Carlton

The wedding rush is over!  For now.  Just wrapped up editing my fourth wedding in three weeks.  I am glad to report I didn't screw it up!  That's a joke.  I never screw it up :) I present Cynthia and Matt!

Cynthia Demos and I work together at CBS4.  I was honored for her to ask me to capture her day.  It really was a beautiful day.  Starting with a Fox Trot on her door step with Jorge Estevez.

I believe this was rehearsal for the first dance.  Fox Trot lessons the day of... nice!

This guy knows how to treat a girl!  What a pre-wedding gift!

After hanging out with the girls I jetted over to the church to catch up with the guys.  I was glad to see they were there.  All 8! Dressed and ready to go! Such good looking men.

or is that good looking boys?

If you can't tell I have a lot of fun when I shoot!  We can be serious and we can fun right?  I call this next one "are you sure you want to do this?"

Who said white men can't jump?

So if you missed it in the background the wedding was at the St Sophia near Downtown Miami.  The service a traditional Greek wedding.  Aka Beautiful but lottttssss of standing!

I think it hit her around here!

Cynthia wanted to do photojournalistic style.  Matt wanted Formal photos.  So we did both.  And a few hybrid formals... like this one.  That's as natural a smile as they come!

The reception was at the Coconut Grove Ritz Carlton.  Absolutely Gorgeous!

The band, Drew T, did an awesome job.  CBS4's Jawan Strader really got into the Michael Jackson tribute.

A little Greek dancing!

A little Latin dancing!

And of course what's a wedding without wedding cake... on your nose?!

I always end my night with what I call the Album ender.  It's just that... the last photo you will have in your wedding album.  Many photographers focus on the first shot of your album.  I believe all stories have a beginning, middle and an end so I shoot that way.

Time for a little credit where credit is due.  My beautiful wife was a real help the past month, assisting me with a couple of these weddings.  She helped herd the cats during formal shooting and fill in where I could not be with a second camera.

So crazy April is now over... I have a handful of projects in May (quince, family shoot, and a corporate shoot out of helicopter next week - never a dull moment!).  I have scheduled a weekend towards the end of the month to go away with the wife.  It will be our first vacation without the baby.  Wonder if I will be able to leave my camera behind too?!  Stayed tuned… Senior Portraits post coming up soon.
